Local Study Learning Lab
Local Study Learning Lab is our main education program. It provides free and low-cost academic support for students who need extra help with math, reading, homework, and STEM activities.
The program is designed for families looking for accessible learning support outside the regular school day. Students work on foundational skills, confidence, problem solving, and consistent learning habits.
Math Foundations
Math Foundations helps students strengthen the building blocks of numeracy. Sessions may include number sense, arithmetic, fractions, decimals, percentages, word problems, pre-algebra, algebra readiness, geometry basics, homework support, and test preparation skills.
Students receive step-by-step explanations and guided practice. The goal is not only to finish assignments, but to help students understand what they are doing and why it works.
Reading Success
Reading Success supports students with literacy skills that are essential for school and lifelong learning. Sessions may include phonics, fluency, vocabulary, reading comprehension, writing basics, spelling, sentence structure, and discussion of age-appropriate texts.
The goal is to help students read with more confidence, understand what they read, and build stronger habits around language and learning.
